Rinsing baths in the parts cleaning process

In the industrial parts cleaning process, often referred to as metal cleaning, there are different kinds of rinsing water:

  • Rinsing bath with municipal water
  • Rinsing bath with softened or deionized water (DI water)
  • Rinsing bath with low concentrations of cleaning agent or compound

The kind of rinsing bath to be applied depends on the whole parts cleaning process respectively on the production / metalworking process. In general there are at least two to three rinsing baths connected in series. Especially in surface technology (e.g. coating of surfaces) the rinsing is of high importance, as it removes traces of particles, cleaning agent and compound. By that the metal part or the metal surface is cleaned and is ready for further manufacturing steps.

Nanofiltration in rinsing bath treatment

Atec nanofiltration allow to prolong the lifetime of the rinsing water by constant removal of chemical and physical contaminants. Compared to micro and ultrafiltration, nanofiltration units are capable of removing dissolved solids from the rinsing fluid. By that the filtrate is very clean and suitable for reuse in the rinsing process.
