Research and development are the basics for ever improving and new systems and processes in the fields of memrane filtration and water treatment.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to internal activities in research and development, Atec has been a participant in public funded research projects, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atec-nu.de\/en\/2019\/12\/research-project-hyprstep\/\">HyprSTEP research project for advanced wastewater treatment<\/a> (removal of micro contaminants and resistant germs)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atec-nu.de\/en\/2017\/01\/reward-water-treatment-laundries\/\">REWARD research project for recycling of wash water from laundries<\/a><\/li>\n<li>ACOR research project for recycling of coolant and silicon particles from the cutting of PV wafers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The German <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stifterverband.org\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stifterverband<\/a> awards the seal &#8220;Innovative through Research&#8221; to companies that take part in publicly funded research and development activities.
